Virtual cards explained
What is a virtual card?
A card that exists only as a number, expiry and security code — there is nothing to post and nothing to carry. It works anywhere online that takes Visa or Mastercard: ad platforms, cloud services, app stores and subscriptions. The cards are issued in the United States on US credit BINs and loaded from your balance, with no credit line.

How do virtual cards work?
A virtual card is issued the moment you ask for it — there is nothing to post and nothing to wait for. You choose Visa or Mastercard at creation, which decides the card's BIN, and you set how much of your ZikCards balance to load onto it. The card can spend up to that amount and no further, so it cannot be overdrawn and there is no credit to repay.
To a merchant it looks like an ordinary US card, because that is what it is: the cards are issued in the United States and run on the Visa and Mastercard networks. You can top a card up whenever you like, freeze it if something looks wrong, and close it when you are finished — closing returns whatever is left on it to your wallet.

Why can't I just use my local bank card?
For many things you can. The problem is the ones that matter. Meta, Google and TikTok ad accounts, AWS, and most US subscription services either decline a card issued outside the United States outright, or — more expensively — accept it once and then fail on renewal, which can stop a campaign or suspend an account with no warning.
The reason is where the card was issued rather than whether it has money on it. Many platforms restrict billing to cards from a short list of countries, and several run an address check that a card held abroad cannot satisfy.
A US-issued card with a US billing address clears both, which is the whole reason these cards exist.

Getting started
How do I create a ZikCards account?
Press Create your card and either continue with Google or sign up with an email address and password. You will need to confirm your email before you can sign in. Opening the account is free and takes a minute. Identity verification is a separate step and is only needed before you issue your first card, so you can look around first.

What ID do I need to sign up?
Go to Profile → Verification and upload photographs of a government-issued ID. Three documents are accepted — a passport, a national identity card or a driving licence — so use whichever you already hold.
You will be asked for the front and the back of the document, and a selfie holding the same one. Upload photographs, not PDFs: our card issuer accepts image files only. Make sure the whole document is inside the frame and in focus, and that it has not expired — a cut-off corner or glare across the photo page is the usual reason a submission has to be done again.
Verification happens once. Every card you create afterwards uses it, so there is nothing to repeat when you issue a second or third card.

Do you run credit checks?
No, and there is nothing to check. Cards are funded from money you have already added to your own balance, and no credit is extended at any point — so there is no lending decision, no credit bureau involved, and no search recorded against your name. Using ZikCards cannot affect your credit score in either direction.
There is no minimum income and no employment check. We do need to confirm who you are before issuing a card, but that is an identity check and has nothing to do with your credit history.
The word "credit" in credit BIN describes how the card range is registered with the card networks, which is what merchants check. It is not a credit facility being offered to you.

Is ZikCards available in my country?
Almost certainly. ZikCards serves customers in almost every country. The exceptions are the countries our card issuer does not serve, listed on our restricted countries page: a card cannot be issued against an address in them. If your country is not on that list, you are supported, and there is no separate approval step: create an account and verify your identity with a passport, national identity card or driving licence.
Two things are worth checking for where you live. Balances are funded with USDT only, so make sure you can buy and hold USDT there. And check that the services you want to pay for are offered in your country: a card changes how you pay, not where a service operates.

Adding funds
How do I add money to my ZikCards wallet?
Open Add Money, choose the coin (USDT or USDC) and the network you are sending from, and send it to the address shown. Take the address from that screen after choosing the network: each address is valid only for the network it was issued for, and only for twenty minutes.
Your balance appears in US dollars once the network confirms the transfer, usually within a few minutes. If less arrives than you were quoted, the deposit is held rather than credited, and sending the difference to the same address completes it.
Stablecoin is the only way to fund an account — no card payment, no bank transfer. That is deliberate: it is what lets us serve customers whose local banking cannot reach US card rails in the first place.

How can I top up my virtual card balance?
Open the card under My cards and choose Fund. The money comes from your ZikCards wallet balance, so add money to the wallet first if it is short — there is no separate payment method to pick at this step. The amount you enter is what lands on the card; the fee is shown before you confirm and comes out of your wallet on top of it.

How do I withdraw money?
Withdrawals are paid in USDT to a wallet you control, on TRON (TRC-20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20). Go to Withdraw Money, choose the network, paste the address and submit. Each request is checked and sent by a person, so it is not instant. Check the network before you submit: a BEP-20 address and an ERC-20 address are written identically, nothing can tell them apart afterwards, and a transfer sent on the wrong chain cannot be reversed.
Open this answer
Can I move money between my wallet and my cards?
You can move money from your wallet onto any of your cards whenever you like. The other direction is the one to know about: there is no way to take money off a card except by closing it, which returns the whole remaining balance to your wallet with no fee. You cannot send money to another person or to another ZikCards account — person-to-person transfer is deliberately not offered.
Open this answer
My deposit arrived short — where is the rest?
If less reaches the deposit address than you were quoted, the deposit is held rather than credited, and it shows as partial. Usually that is a fee taken at the sending end, or two sends that each fell short. Send the difference to the same address and the deposit completes on its own once the total covers what was expected — you do not need to start again. If the address has already expired, or you are not sure how much is missing, send us the transaction hash and we will reconcile it by hand.
Open this answer
Which network should I send USDT on?
Any network the Add Money screen offers: USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), Polygon, Solana, TRON (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), and USDC on BNB Smart Chain, Polygon or Solana. Pick whichever your exchange charges least to send from; Ethereum is usually the most expensive. BNB Smart Chain carries the standard deposit fee shown on our pricing page. The fee may differ on other networks, and the Add Money screen shows it for the network you pick before you send. Whichever you choose, the deposit address you are shown is valid only for that network, and funds sent on a different one are usually unrecoverable. Take the address from the screen after you have chosen the network, and never reuse an address from an earlier deposit.
Open this answer
How long does a deposit take to arrive?
Usually a few minutes. Your balance updates once the network confirms the transfer, which depends on the chain rather than on us: TRON and BNB Smart Chain confirm in minutes, and Ethereum can take longer when the network is busy. The deposit address you are given stays valid for twenty minutes. If you send after it has expired, do not send again — contact us with the transaction hash and we will credit it.

Using your card
How do I purchase a virtual card?
You need to be verified first. After that a card takes under a minute.
Choose Issue card in the sidebar, pick Visa or Mastercard, and set how much of your balance to load onto it. Each card's brand, BIN and issuing country are shown before you issue it, so if a merchant has refused one card, a different one is worth trying.
The fee is shown before you confirm and comes out of your wallet on top of the amount you are loading. The card number, expiry and security code are available immediately afterwards under My cards, where you can also give the card a name so you can tell it apart later.
How many cards you can hold at once is shown on that page. Closing one frees its slot straight away.

How do I use my virtual card for online purchases?
Open the card under My cards and press Reveal Details to see the number, expiry and security code. They are rendered straight from the issuer's vault into your browser, so they never pass through our servers. Enter them at checkout as you would any card — with one difference that catches most people out: use the billing address shown on that same page, not your own. Merchants check the card's address, and yours will be declined. If the merchant asks for a one-time code, it appears as a banner at the top of your dashboard.

Can I use my card abroad?
Yes — your own location does not restrict the card. The cards are issued in the United States and work anywhere online that accepts Visa or Mastercard, wherever you happen to be.
A cross-border fee applies only where the merchant settles outside the United States. Many US services settle in the US, so it does not apply to them; some platforms bill customers in other countries through a company outside the US, and then it does. Where it does apply, it appears on the transaction rather than being folded into the total.
A charge in another currency is converted by the card network at its own rate.
There is no plastic card, so a card cannot be used at an ATM. In shops you can pay by adding it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Where can I view my transactions?
Everything is under Transactions in the sidebar: deposits, cards issued, top-ups, withdrawals and referral commission. Each row shows the fee that was charged alongside the amount, so nothing is buried inside a total.
You can export any date range from that page as a CSV or a PDF, which is usually what people want at the end of a month for their own bookkeeping.
What a single card has spent is listed separately, on that card's own page. That is where merchant names and declined attempts appear — the account-level list covers money moving in and out of ZikCards, not what each card did with it.

What billing address do I use at checkout?
Use the billing address shown on the card's own page, not your home address. The card is issued in the United States and carries a US address that the issuing bank assigns to it. Merchants and ad platforms check what you type against that address, and a mismatch is declined — which reads to you as "the card does not work" even though nothing is wrong with it. There is a copy control beside the address for exactly this reason. This is the most common reason a good card is refused on Google or Meta.
Open this answer
How many cards can I have?
How many you may hold at once is shown on the My cards page. Closing a card frees its slot straight away, so if you are at the limit you can close one you have finished with and issue another immediately — the limit counts cards that are live, not cards you have ever created. Closing also returns whatever is left on the card to your wallet, in full and with no fee.
Open this answer
Should I freeze a card or close it?
Freeze it if you want it stopped but kept — a frozen card declines everything and you can unfreeze it whenever you like, but the card issuer still charges its decline fee, from the card, on every refused attempt — so if a merchant keeps retrying, close the card. Close it if you are finished with it: closing is permanent, it frees a card slot, and it returns the remaining balance to your wallet in full with no fee. Closing is currently the only way to get money off a card, so if what you want is the balance back rather than the card stopped, close it rather than freezing it.

The merchant asked for a verification code — where do I find it?
When a merchant runs a 3D Secure check, the issuer sends a one-time code and it appears as a banner at the top of your ZikCards dashboard, with a copy button and the last four digits of the card it belongs to. Enter it on the payment page you already have open. It is valid for that one payment only. ZikCards will never ask you for this code, and nobody from ZikCards will ever message you to request it.
Open this answer
How long does a card last?
Three years from the day it is issued, and the date is shown with the card details next to the number and security code. There is no automatic renewal: when a card expires you create a new one, and because the replacement has a different number, anything billed to the old card — subscriptions, ad accounts, anywhere the number is saved — has to be updated. If a card is close to its expiry date and still holds a balance, close it before the date rather than after: closing returns the remaining balance to your wallet in full with no fee, and frees the slot straight away so you can create the replacement.

Which purchases are blocked on ZikCards cards?
Six groups of merchants are refused by the card itself, so a payment there always declines, whatever your balance: gambling and betting; crypto purchases and money transfer; cash advances; fuel pumps, transit and taxis; dating services and telemarketing; and stored value cards and money orders. Fuel pumps, transit and taxis are blocked because they authorise one amount and charge another, which a card that spends only its loaded balance cannot cover.
A decline in a blocked category is free: the issuer's decline fee does not apply, and your activity shows that the category is blocked, so there is no point retrying. ATM withdrawals are not possible either, because a cash machine needs a PIN and a virtual card has none.
Every merchant has a merchant category code (MCC). These are the codes blocked on cards from our main card issuer; cards issued before 21 October 2026 block all of them except 7800, 9406 and 9754. No merchant outside them is blocked by the card. A merchant's name does not always match its code: the block follows the code the merchant uses, which you can look up with our MCC lookup. The list can change as we add card issuers.

Can I use ZikCards for Facebook and Google ads?
Yes. You add the card as a payment method in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager or another ad platform, the same way as any card, with the card's own billing address from your card page. In our own test, Google accepted a ZikCards card as a payment method with no extra check. Every platform still runs its own checks on each card and each payment, so no card provider can promise that a platform will accept a card.
Three things keep ad payments running. Use one card per ad account, so one client's spend never affects another's. Keep the card's balance above the next bill: every declined payment carries the issuer's decline fee, and an ad platform may retry several times. And allow for the issuer's cross-border fee when the platform bills you from a company outside the United States; both are on the pricing page. A card pays for an account; it does not change a platform's decision about an account it has restricted.

Can I add my card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes. A ZikCards card can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone and used to tap and pay in shops, as well as online. You add it by hand, with the details from your card page.
Before you start. Open the card in your dashboard and reveal its number, expiry date and security code. Check that the card is not frozen and has some balance on it, since a wallet may check the card when you add it. Keep the card's billing address to hand: it is shown on the same page.
Apple Pay (iPhone). Open the Wallet app, tap + and choose Debit or Credit Card. When the camera opens, choose to enter the card details manually, then type the name on the card, the card number, the expiry date and the security code.
Google Pay (Android). Open Google Wallet, tap Add to Wallet, choose Payment card and add a new card, then type the same details by hand.
Use the card's billing address. Enter the billing address shown on your card page, not your home address. Wallets and merchants compare it with what the issuer holds, and a home address is the most common reason a card is refused. Why the billing address matters.
If the wallet cannot add the card. Check that the name, number and billing address match your card page exactly and that the card is not frozen. Then wait a few hours before trying again: several attempts in a row can look suspicious to the wallet. If it still fails, contact support with the exact message the wallet showed.
Paying in a shop. In a shop the card works exactly as it does online: it spends only what is loaded on it, so top it up before you pay. A payment with a merchant outside the United States carries the issuer's cross-border fee, and a declined payment carries the decline fee, so keep the balance above what you plan to spend. Both fees are on the pricing page.
If you lose your phone. Freeze the card from your dashboard. A frozen card is declined wherever it is used, and you can unfreeze it as soon as you have your phone back.

Declines and refunds
What should I do if my virtual card is declined?
Four things account for most declines. The balance may not cover the full amount including whatever the merchant adds. The billing address may be wrong — merchants check the card's address, shown on the card's page, not yours. A one-time code may be waiting: if the merchant ran a verification check, the code appears as a banner in your dashboard, and the payment fails if it is not entered. Or the merchant's category may be one the card cannot be used for. Each declined attempt also costs the card issuer's decline fee, taken from the card and listed on the pricing page. If none of those explain it, send us the merchant name and the time and we will tell you what the issuer recorded.

How do refunds from a merchant work?
A refund goes back to the card it was charged to, not to your wallet, and appears in that card's balance once the merchant actually sends it. How long that takes is the merchant's decision rather than ours — several days is normal, and some take considerably longer.
The card has to still be open. If you close a card before a refund arrives, the money has nowhere to land and has to be traced by hand. If you are expecting one, leave the card open until it appears.
Once it lands, the balance is yours: spend it on that card, or close the card to return it to your wallet in full.
If a refund you were promised has not arrived after a couple of weeks, send us the merchant name and the date of the original charge.

Fees and limits
What are ZikCards’ fees and limits?
Every charge is listed on the pricing page, and the figures there are read from the live settings rather than typed by hand, so they cannot fall out of step with what you are actually charged. In the app the exact fee is shown before you confirm — on the deposit screen, on the card creation form and on the top-up form. There is no monthly fee, no minimum balance on your account, and no charge for an account sitting idle. Each card does keep a small minimum, shown on the pricing page, that can't be spent while the card is open; closing the card returns its full balance, minimum included.

Why isn't ZikCards free?
Issuing a card and moving money both cost us money, so a card that is free to you is being paid for somewhere you cannot see — usually by selling data, by anonymous issuing that gets the programme shut down, or by a margin buried in the exchange rate. We charge a stated fee when you load a card and a one-off fee to create one. There is no monthly fee and no charge for an account sitting idle.

Privacy and security
Are virtual cards safer than a physical card?
For online spending, yes, for three reasons.
One card per merchant. Issue a separate card for each subscription or platform, and a leak at one exposes nothing else. You can close that single card without disturbing anything else you have set up.
Limited exposure. Each card holds only what you put on it. A bank card exposes the whole account behind it; a virtual card can lose at most its own balance.
You can stop it yourself. Freeze a card the instant something looks wrong, from your dashboard, without phoning anyone — and unfreeze it just as quickly if it turns out to be nothing.
Card numbers are never stored on our servers: when you reveal one it is rendered straight from the issuer's secure vault into your browser. We will never ask you for a card number, a security code or a one-time code.

How do I contact ZikCards support?
Email support@zikcards.com, use the contact form, or message @ZikCardsSupportBot on Telegram.
If you are signed in, opening a support ticket from your dashboard is the fastest route, because it reaches us with your account already attached and we do not have to establish who you are first.
Whichever you use, including the specifics helps more than anything else: the merchant name and the time for a declined payment, or the transaction hash for a deposit that has not arrived. That is usually the difference between one reply and three.

Is ZikCards legit, and who issues the cards?
ZikCards is operated by Rab Technologies & Traders LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States, entity number 2025-001806835. You can check it yourself: enter that number in the Filing ID field on the Wyoming Secretary of State's business search. ZikCards is not a bank. The cards are issued in the United States on Visa and Mastercard credit BINs by our card issuing partner, and every card carries 3D Secure.
Every customer verifies their identity with a government-issued ID before a card is issued, every fee is published on the pricing page, and your balance can be withdrawn back to your own USDT address.
