US-issued Visa and Mastercard virtual cards. Cards issue in seconds once you're verified. Create your card

How ZikCards works

Sign up, add funds, verify once, and create a card. No branch visit and no paperwork in the post.

What you need before you start

An email address Used to verify your account
A photo ID Passport, national ID card or driving licence
Some USDT or USDC On a network listed in Add Money

That's all: no bank statement and no branch visit.

The four steps

1

Create your account

Sign up with your email address and confirm it. Nothing else is asked for at this stage, and there is no charge for holding an account.

How do I create a ZikCards account?

About two minutes
2

Add funds

Send USDT or USDC to the deposit address shown in your dashboard, on the network you choose there. Your balance appears in US dollars once the network confirms the transfer.

How do I add money to my ZikCards wallet?

Send on the right network. A deposit address is specific to its network. USDT sent to a TRC-20 address over BEP-20 or ERC-20 will not arrive and cannot always be recovered. Check the network before you send, every time. Check an address before you send with the USDT address checker.
3

Verify your identity

Upload photographs of your identity document — a passport, national ID card or driving licence. Our card issuer checks the document itself, so the photographs need to be readable: all four corners in frame, no glare across the text, and any machine-readable strip fully visible.

This happens once, before your first card. Every card you create afterwards uses the same verification.

What ID do I need to sign up?

Photograph quality is what usually fails. A cropped corner, glare across the text or one blurred line sends the check back. Lay the document flat on a plain surface in even light, and fill the frame without cutting off an edge.
4

Create your card

Choose Visa or Mastercard and set how much to load onto it. The card number, expiry and security code appear immediately and can be used straight away, and you can name the card on My cards.

Name each card for what it is for — Meta Ads, AWS, Subscriptions. You can hold up to 3 active cards, and closing one returns its balance to your wallet in full.

How do I purchase a virtual card?

A few seconds

After your card is live

Finding your card details

Card numbers are never stored on our servers. When you tap to reveal them they are fetched from a secure vault and shown directly in your browser, which is why the number cannot be copied from our database even by us.

Adding it to your phone

Cards can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay, so they work for contactless payments in shops as well as online.

Where it works

Anywhere Visa and Mastercard are accepted — over 100 million merchant locations. The cards are issued in the United States on Visa and Mastercard credit BINs, and spend only what you load onto them.

Keeping control

Freeze a card from your dashboard the moment you need to and unfreeze it just as quickly — useful if a card is stored somewhere you no longer trust, or you want spending on it to stop while you look into a charge.

Common questions

What do I need to get started?

An email address, a photo ID for a one-time identity check, and funds to add to your balance. The cards are issued in the United States, and you can sign up from most countries.

Why do you need an identity document?

Our card issuer requires verified identity for every cardholder. It is also what keeps the cards working — anonymous card programmes are regularly shut down by the networks, and their customers lose access to their balances with them.

Can I use a driving licence instead of a passport?

Yes. A passport, national ID card or driving licence are all accepted. Whichever you choose, photograph it clearly — a cropped corner or glare across the text is the usual reason a check comes back.

How many cards can I have?

Up to 3 active cards at a time. Closing one frees the slot and returns its balance to your wallet in full — freezing does not, because a frozen card can be unfrozen and keeps its place.

What happens if a payment is declined?

The most common causes are an insufficient card balance and a merchant category the card cannot be used for. Your balance is visible in the dashboard, and topping the card up takes a few seconds.
