F. Emails About Getting Started
When you open an account, we send you a few emails to help you finish setting it up, for example if you have not yet verified your identity or made your first deposit. Every one has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops only these emails: messages about your account, deposits, cards and security still reach you.

A. Financial Partners and Regulatory Compliance We are a Card Program Manager, and to issue the ZikCards Virtual Card and comply with financial regulations, we are required to share your Personal Information with our financial partners:
The Card Issuer: The licensed issuing partner legally responsible for issuing the cards. We share Identity Data, Transaction Data, and Support Data to satisfy the bank's Know-Your-Customer (KYC) obligations, perform mandatory fraud screening, and fulfill regulatory reporting requirements.
Our card issuer: as the party that issues and processes the cards, they receive the data needed for card issuance, transaction processing, fraud monitoring, and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
B. Operational Service Providers We may share your Personal Information with third-party vendors for specific operational functions, including cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and non-bank identity verification partners. These providers operate under confidentiality agreements and are restricted from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to ZikCards.
Identity Verification When you verify your identity, an identity verification provider carries out the check for us. It processes photos of your identity document and a selfie, and compares your face with the photo on the document to confirm it is you. It uses this information only to perform the check.
Reviews After you have used ZikCards for a while, we may ask Trustpilot, an independent review platform, to invite you to review us. For this we share only your first name and email address with Trustpilot. You can ignore the invitation or unsubscribe from Trustpilot's emails at any time.
Advertising Platforms We advertise on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Their tags on our website tell them whether a visit came from one of their ads and whether it led to an account, identity verification, a deposit or a card, and they receive the page address and standard browser information such as your IP address. Google and Microsoft use this under their own privacy statements, so the restriction above does not apply to them. We do not send them your name, contact details, amounts or card details. We keep your data while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as we need it:
Identity verification records, meaning the details and documents you submit to verify your identity, and transaction records, meaning your deposits, cards, card top-ups and withdrawals, are kept for five years after your account is closed, as anti-money-laundering rules require. This is set out in section 6.2 of our KYC/AML Policy.
Other data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service, prevent fraud, comply with the law and meet accounting and tax obligations.
After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
